Joint MASHC & ASHB Futurity of MO Winter Party

The joint MASHC & ASHA Futurity of MO Winter Party will be held on Sat., Feb. 11, 2012 at Fiorello's Jack Stack BBQ's Party Room on S. Holmes Rd. in Martin City, MO. This fun event will start at 4 pm with the Futurity business. At 6 pm, there will be a social hour & silent auction. Soon to follow will be the fantastic food from Jack Stack BBQ. The advance tickets are $25 per person. If you have any questions, please call Don Schilling at 816-322-5475. Please join us for this fun and interesting evening of information, fellow horse folks, and great food.

UPHA Chapter 5 Benefit Party

A UPHA Chapter 5 benefit party will be held at Peepers Ranch, 9100 Cedar Niles Rd., Lenexa, KS 6622, March 3, 2012, 6:30pm. Shake off the winter blues and enjoy an evening of live music, hor d'oeuvres, and drinks. "Casual Bling" attire. There will be both a live and silent auction. Admission is free, but you MUST R.S.V.P by Monday, Feb 20 to Jan Burden, 816‑322‑5475 or bssaddlebreds@aol.com.

MASHC Horse Show a Success

Despite late rain on Saturday night, MASHC's Charity Horse Show was a success. $1,500 was donated to Heartland Therapeutic Riding. Congratulations to all of the ribbon winners.

MASHC will host a welcome table with coffee, pastries, and information on Load In Day, 9 to 12 AM at the UPHA/American Royal National Horse Show on Sunday, November 13, 2011 in Kansas City, MO for trainers, grooms, and exhibitors.

Announcing A New American Royal Jr. Exhibitor Scholarship

The American Royal will award a $1500 scholarship for post-secondary education to a junior exhibitor competing in the 2011 UPHA American Royal National Championship Horse Show. Refer to the details for elgibility requirements, deadlines and other information.

Mid-America Saddlebred Barn Tour a Success!

The Mid-America Saddlebred Horse Club's barn tour was a success! The group was graciously welcomed by the owners and trainers everywhere. The barns took a lot of extra time and effort to prepare their barns and horses, in addition to providing food and drink at every one of them.
